Speech Therapy for Seniors in North Hollywood

At Health Guard Inc., we offer speech therapy for the elderly to help with speech, language and swallowing problems, so seniors can communicate with confidence.

ABOUT SPEECH THERAPY

Why speech therapy matters for seniors

Communication is vital at every age, but many older adults live with conditions like dementia, hearing loss or the effects of a stroke that make it hard to communicate clearly.

Seniors need to communicate effectively to get the help they need and to stay connected with family and friends. Good speech plays an essential role in a senior’s quality of life.

AT HEALTH GUARD

How speech therapy works in our program

Speech therapy is part of our adult day health care program. Each participant’s goals are included in their individual plan of care, and sessions happen during the program day.

Because participants spend the day talking, eating and taking part in activities with others, they get natural chances to practice what they learn in therapy.
